PRACTICAL INFO
The Happy Rebels Festival kicks off on Friday, September 6th, 2024, at 16:30 until Sunday 12:00. The main festival is September 7th, with doors opening at 10:30 until 24:00.
The Happy Rebels Festival will be held at Thor Park in Genk (Belgium).
Parking facilities are not available within the festival grounds. Should you require parking for your vehicle, please proceed to the designated Cegeka parking area, which is a free parking and within walking distance from the festival grounds.

Everyone staying with tents can park in the Cegeka Arena parking lot. Please note that there are no electric charging stations available .To ensure smooth parking logistics, and due to limited parking spaces, we strongly recommend carpooling with your colleagues. Rebels staying in a Rebel Hole can park at a separate parking lot.

Head over to 'Get Your Ticket' and fill in all the necessary details to secure your spot. Once you've completed the registration process (and paid your accommodation if you booked one), you will receive a confirmation mail in your mailbox. Keep this mail close by, it contains a link to your personal page where you can manage your booking: add roomies to your accommodation or cancel your stay at the festival.
No, only Happy Rebels have access to the festival. The Happy Rebels Festival is a fantastic opportunity to meet new colleagues and enjoy an incredible time together. Be sure to reserve your ticket using your professional email address.
Shuttle services will be operational from 08:30 until 01:00. More information about the shuttles will be communicated in the practical mail sent 1 week before the event.
Unfortunately, no. The pre-and after-parties are exclusively reserved for guests staying in tents, campers or Rebel Holes.
Absolutely! Lockers will be available during the festival to keep your personal belongings safe and sound.

FOOD & DRINKS
Absolutely not, all Happy Rebels will enjoy unlimited access to complementary food and drinks throughout the event. Our diverse selection of fast food, including vegetarian and vegan options.
Only for the afterparty on Saturday night we ask you to bring you own drinks.
Breakfast is included for guests staying in a tent, camper, Rebel Hole or hotel. For those in tents, camper or Rebel Holes, breakfast will be served at designated areas on the festival site starting from 08:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast offerings consist of pastries, accompanied by coffee, tea and cold drinks.
Hotel guests can enjoy breakfast on Saturday and/or Sunday at their accommodation.
In 2024, the festival will not be using Rebel Coins.
ACCESSIBILITY FOR DISABLED
Yes, designated parking spaces for disabled attendees are available at the festival. These spaces are conveniently located near the entrance to ensure easy access for individuals with disabilities.
Certainly, the festival venue is equipped with wheelchair accessibility, subject to feasibility based on the location's infrastructure. We have made sure to provide ramps and designated pathways to ensure ease of access for all attendees.
Absolutely! We've made sure to provide accessible restroom facilities onsite to accommodate all attendees. These facilities are designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for everyone.
ACCOMMODATION
In the tent area, placement is based on a first-come, first-served policy. Given this approach, designated zones for PowerHouses will not be established. To ensure adjacent spots, we advise arriving together with your PowerHouse colleagues. So, gather your crew and secure your spot early for an unforgettable festival experience!
In the Rebels Haven (the area of the Rebel Holes), space allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis for subscription. The organization will assign you a Rebel Hole.
It depends. You can come with you own tent or camper and add some roomies to your accommodation. This is free of charge.
You can also choose for a paid accommodation. It can be a hotel or a Rebel Hole. The price for a Rebel Hole is €640 for 2 nights, for 4 persons. The price for a hotel is €90 per person, per night for a double room.

No, the camping area and Rebel Hole area are separated, but in proximity from each other.
Dedicated sanitary blocks will be conveniently located near the camping and Rebel Hole areas.
No, not at the tents, so bring your power banks and flashlights, but there will be electricity at the camper campsite.
Each Rebel Hole accommodates up to four individuals with two bunk beds, complete with fresh linens, a mattress, and a fluffy pillow. Additionally, amenities include a USB charger and a light for your convenience.
Yes there is a USB-charger and a light. We recommend bringing extra power banks and flashlights just in case.
No, mirrors are not provided. If you want to ensure you look your best, we recommend bringing a small mirror from home.
No, the Rebel Hole is equipped with bunk beds.
The hotel package for the festival includes discounted rates for nearby hotel rooms, with room assignments managed by the organization for logistical efficiency. The price is €90 for a double room, per person per night. This rate includes breakfast. Parking fees and expenditures from themini bar are not included within the discounted rate. These expenses will be billed separately and are to be settled upon check-out.

On Saturday, shuttles will be available to transport attendees to and from the festival grounds. Information on shuttle times and specific pickup/drop-off points will be shared as the festival approaches.
General booking information
If one (or more) roomie(s) does not pay its part within 10 days, the entire booking (all tickets + accommodation) will be canceled. The roomies who have paid their part will receive full refund by the organization within 3 weeks. A new registration is needed to join the event.
In case of a free accommodation:
For tents and campers, it is possible to add roomies during the registration process or after registration. If you choose to add roomies after the registration process, you can do so on your personal page that was mailed to you during the registration.
In case of a paid accommodation (Rebel home or hotel room):
- If you haven’t booked an accommodation yet:
- The main booker can add roomies during the registration process by adding their mail addresses in the booking form.
- After this registration process the main booker and the roomies will receive a confirmation mail with a link to his/her personal page + a payment link. Each person pays his/her part of the booking.
- If all roomies have paid their part, the reservation is complete, and the accommodation is locked for you and your roomies.
- If you have booked (and paid) an accommodation but you would like to add a roomie:
- Once your accommodation is fully booked and paid, each occupant can still add roomies or cancel his/her stay via its personal page.
- Note that the financial consequence of an extra roomie needs to be handled amongst each other (the accommodation has already been paid for). This means that you need to make arrangements with the new roomie to share the costs of the accommodation.
No, every colleague must book their own ticket using their professional email address. Please cancel your ticket via your personal page (possible until 16/08).
Cancellations of tickets after 16/08 will be regarded as no-shows. No-shows without a valid justification will incur a “no-show fee”. For further information, please reach out to your SPOC.
Yes, a no-show fee of €150 can be charged if you don’t show up at the festival without a valid reason. Every PowerHouse decides themselves on the no-show fee. 150€ is a fraction of the total value. If you can’t come, let us know before 16/08.
If you have booked (and paid) an accommodation but you would like to add a roomie:
- Once your accommodation is fully booked and paid, each occupant can still add roomies or cancel his/her stay via its personal page.
- Note that the financial consequence of an extra roomie needs to be handled amongst each other (the accommodation has already been paid for). This means that you need to make arrangements with the new roomie to share the costs of the accommodation.
No, that is not possible. Please go to your personal page and cancel your festival ticket. You can easily start over and order a festival ticket and an accommodation of your choice.
CANCELLATION
If you have booked a free accommodation (tent or camper): If you cancel your accommodation, your festival ticket will also be cancelled. Feel free to book a new festival ticket.
If you have booked a paid accommodation (hotel or Rebel Hole) by yourself:
- Before 28/6: if you cancel your accommodation and you have no roomies, the organization will give you a full refund. The accommodation will become available for others to book. You need to register for a new festival ticket on the platform.
- After 28/6: if you cancel your accommodation and you have no roomies, the organization already paid for the accommodation. A refund is not possible anymore. We suggest that you try to find a colleague that can take over your booking. On your personal page you can add the new person as a roomie and afterwards you can cancel your stay. You will need to book a new festival ticket after your cancellation to gain access to the festival grounds.
If you stay in a paid and shared accommodation (hotel or Rebel Hole):
- On your personal page you can cancel your stay in the Rebel Hole or hotel. It’s not a full cancellation because your roomies don’t cancel their stay. Therefore, a refund by the organization is not possible. If you cancel your spot in the accommodation on your personal page, your entrance ticket will automatically be cancelled as well. You need to register again for a new entrance ticket. The financial impact of your cancellation needs to be dealt with amongst each other.
If you stay in a tent or camper: Yes, you can cancel your presence before 28/06 via your personal page. Your festival ticket will be automatically cancelled as well. If you have roomies in your tent or camper: they will still be able to come to the campsite with their tent or camper and gain full access to the festival.
If you stay in a Rebel Hole or hotel (= a paid accommodation):
If you have booked a hotel or Rebel Hole by yourself:
- Before 28/6: if you cancel your accommodation and you have no roomies, the organization will give you a full refund. The accommodation will become available for others to book. Your festival ticket will automatically be cancelled as well.

Yes!
Once your accommodation is fully paid and booked, each occupant can still add roomies or cancel his/her stay via its personal page. Note that there will be no refund by the organization. This means that you can cancel your stay in a paid accommodation and add a colleague as a new roomie. The financial part of this change needs to be handled in between colleagues.
Because you cancelled your stay in an accommodation, your festival ticket will also (automatically) be cancelled. If you still want to come to the festival, you can register for a new ticket.
It’s still possible to cancel your entrance ticket after June 28th on your personal page. However, it’s not possible to cancel your ticket after August 16th. In case of no show at the festival, a fee of €150, - will be charged by the PowerHouse.

SHUTTLES
Shuttles between the hotel and the festival will operate on Saturday from 08:30 until 01:00. There will be no shuttle service between the festival and the hotels on Friday and Sunday.
More information about the shuttles will be communicated in a later phase.
